Supporting the Community

At Gary Staker Funeral Services we believe in supporting the local community. We have helped local churches with flower festivals, summer fetes and also help raise money for local schools. Raising money by sponsors for abseiling off the Baltic and coming up in July a 10,000 ft parachute jump all in the name of charity.

We helped a local Church St. Marks in Shiremoor raise money for their summer fete. We filled a limousine full of balloons and donated a Marks & Spencer Hamper which the person who guessed guested correct won. All this for £1 a guess we had fun as well as the people guessing and the children went away happy with sweets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For Remembrance Day 2008 we dressed the window with poppies, wreaths a flag and a mock cenotaph to help raise money for the British Legion. Lots of local people came in to get their poppies or to stop and look at the display.
